Open 160912 pdt July 1 2012 2012 alaska kuskokwim bay channel buoys markers

257 ALASKA - SOUTHEAST - ICY STRAIT OBSTRUCTION TO NAVIGATION: On June
5th 2012, the Coast Guard received a report of a 6 to 8 ft mooring
buoy adrift 1nm west of the Hoonah ferry terminal. Mariners are
requested totransit the area with caution and report sightings to the
Coast Guard. Questions or concerns can be directed to Coast Guard
Sector Juneau Command Center at (907) 463-2980or on VHF/FM channel 16.
LNM: 23/12 258 ALASKA - BERING SEA - PRIBILOF ISLANDS HAZARDOUS
OPERATIONS: A gunnery exercise will be conducted approximately 70nm
southeast of St George Island on 08 June 2012,with a primary position
of 55~30.0'N, 168~30.0'W, from 1000U to 1700U. The secondary position
is 55~10.0'N, 168~10.0'W from 1000U to 1700U. The danger radius is
10,000 yards and danger altitude is 5,000 ft. Questions or concernscan
be directed to Coast Guard Sector Anchorage Command Centerat (907)
271-6769or on VHF/FM channel 16. The unit conducting the exercise will
also be monitoringVHF/FM channel 16 during the exercise.
