Your request # 1244880 has been resolved with the resolution:
2/28/2013 A complaint inspection was conducted. The burnt buildings
are posted with "DO NOT ENTER" sign. There are signs of illegal entry
at the property. I noted the chain link fence has been manipulated to
provide a gap that is large enough for a man to pass. All the boards
that suppose to be nailed to the doors have been removed.
I met the complainant on the property. The complainant stated water
service has been restored to his apartment since last night. The
complainant also provided me with the owner's phone number, 534-7502.

2/28/2013 I called the owner, Susie, at 534-7502. She is aware of
the problem. She stated there were some problems with the water line,
and the repair person shut down the water for the needed repairs. I
informed the owner about the burnt buildings that are being occupied.
She stated she is aware of the issue and has been trying to remove the
tresspassers every night. When questioned if she is going to resolve
this problem permanently, she stated she is waiting for the insurance
money to demolish these burnt units. -KQ

Location: 735 S 9th Street Modesto
Description: No running water. There was a fire at the Motel and
County Building Department posted it unsafe to occupy. The perimeter
is fenced off. The fence has been broken and torn down in several
locations. The copper piping has been taken - then the Motel
maintenance of the property tuned off the water. There is still
currently no water to any of the tenants.
