ALASKA PENINSULA AND BRISTOL BAY ON SUNDAY. THE PRIMARY THREAT WITH
THIS SYSTEM WILL BE VERY STRONG WINDS ON SUNDAY THROUGH SOME OF THE
MORE HEAVILY POPULATED AREASOF SOUTHCENTRAL ALASKA. THIS POWERFUL
STORM IS ORIGINATING WELL TO THE SOUTH OVER THE SUBTROPICS AND IS
EXPECTED TO BRING UNSEASONABLY WARM AIR WITH IT. THIS SHOULD ALLOW
TEMPERATURES TO POSSIBLY RISE TO NEAR 50 DEGREES. THIS WILL ALLOW THE
LION'S SHARE OF PRECIPITATION TO FALL AS RAIN. THE RAIN WILL BE HEAVY
AT TIMESOVER PRINCE WILLIAM SOUND ANDTHE SOUTHERN TO EASTERN
KENAIPENINSULA... WITH CONSIDERABLYLESSER AMOUNTS NORTH AND WEST OF
THE CHUGACH AND KENAI RANGES.
THE STRONG WIND THREAT IN ITSELF WILL MAKE OUTDOOR ACTIVITY AND TRAVEL
