Subject: Tsunami Information Statement issued 06/5/2012 at 3:24AM AKDT
At 3:20 AM Alaskan Daylight Time on June 5, an earthquake with
preliminary magnitude 4.1 occurred 85 miles/137 Km west of Talkeetna,
Alaska .
The magnitude and location are such that a tsunami WILL NOT be
generated. This will be the only WCATWC message issued for this event.
The location and magnitude are based on preliminary information.
Further information will be issued by the United States Geological
Survey or the appropriate regional seismic network.
