Port of Call for 30S operations of The United States and Soviet Union (Russia) Naval Forces

Following Press Release of The United States Navy operation jointly
with The Soviet Union (Russia) in Russia duty of Free France since
World War II in works and command of Aleksandr Mikhaylovich
Vasilevsky - 22 March 1943, and 9 May 1945, during which time it
destroyed 273 enemy aircraft and received numerous orders, citations
and decorations from both France and the Soviet Union , including the
French Légion d'Honneur and the Soviet Order of the Red Banner . As of
2005 the unit, known as squadron 1/30 , flies Dassault Mirage F1 CT
planes - reinstated in early 2011. SovietUnion resulted in setting up
a special squadron with an initial core of 12 fighter pilots and 47
ground staff for service New Caledonia to release all holds of
Australia - New Caledonia ( French : Nouvelle-Calédonie [ 5 ] ) is a
special collectivity of France located in thesouthwest Pacific Ocean ,
1,500 kilometres (930 mi) east of Australia and about 20,000
kilometres (12,000 mi) from Metropolitan France . [ 6 ] The
archipelago, part of the Melanesia subregion, includes the main
islandof Grande Terre , the Loyalty Islands , the Belep archipelago,
the Isle of Pines and a few remote islets. [ 7 ] The Chesterfield
Islands in the Coral Sea are also part of New Caledonia. Locals refer
to Grande Terre as "Le Caillou", the rock. [ 8 ]
New Caledonia has a land area of 18,576 square kilometres (7,172 sq
mi). The population (2011 estimate) is 256,275. [ 2 ] The capital of
the territory is Nouméa . New Caledonia voted unanimously to support
the Free French government - in such is the Command of operations 30S
of Allied forces The United States Navy and Soviet Naval forces
including Russia.

Begin with Rural fire departments typically are the first responders
tomost wildland/ urban interface fires. We need to support these local
firefighters.
we need to talk a little bit about the incident command system.
Federal agencies, states and rural fire departments operate under the
incident command systemwhen fighting fires on Federal lands. The
incident command system uses standard organizational structures,
training and position qualifications in order for us to integrate fire
fighting resources easily into an effective, rapid response team.
command teams called Type I teams, of which there are 16 in the United
States and one in each Hawaii and Alaska total of 18 including The
United States.
formal reporting relationships at the local agencies and they are
responsible for operations, planning, logistics and finance of the
incident. The incident commander and staff, in concert with local
units, work with administrative and resource

conditions all contribute to the number, size and behavior of wildfires.

rehabilitation of fire damaged wildlands and restore highrisk

ecosystems with an emphasis on the wildland/urban interface Community

Incident Overview
The Lytle Fire is now 100% controlled. The fire was reported at4:56
p.m. Sunday June 24th near Sheep Canyon Road, north of the community
of Lytle Creek.
Two hundred firefighters from the U.S. Forest Service, San
BernardinoCounty Fire Department, CalFire and the Bureau of Land
Management responded, taking immediate, aggressive and decisiveactions
to hold the fire to 12 acres. The fire burned in heavy chaparral in
rocky, steep terrain and burnt into a US Forest Service fuels
reduction project, which greatly helped slow the spread of the fire.
During the height of the firefight, five residences were temporarily
evacuated in Happy Jack, a community in Lytle Creek canyon, and Lytle
Creek Road was closed north of Sheep Canyon.
U.S. Forest Service Law Enforcement Investigators are working to
determine the exact cause of the blaze. Anyone with any information is

Incidents > California > Los Padres National Forest > Hill Fire Hill Fire

The Hill Fire started on June 23, 2012 at approximately 12:22 at
Hungry Valley Campground, locatedon Ventura County land. Strong Santa
Ana winds quickly pushed thefire into the Los Padres National Forest.
The wind driven fire spread though heavy brush and steep, rugged
terrain, making firefighting efforts challenging. Excellent air
support assisted firefighters in stopping the forward movement of the
fire. Although the fire has settled in remote, steep terrain,
firefighters are making good progress in the suppression efforts.
While originally the fire was thought to have been 1500 acres, proper
mapping has shown a decrease in acreage to 689.

Central Coast Interagency Incident Management Team 7 (Dana D'Andrea,

Pushed by light east winds, initial reports put the fire at 2 acres.
Thefire rapidly grew to 200 acres within the next hours fanned by
erratic winds. Fire, visible from I-5 corridor resulted in numerous
reports, prompting a multiagency response. During initial attack,
theU.S. Forest Service and Ventura County were in unified command.
Late in the afternoon, the fire made significant runs to 400 acres,
threatening the wilderness, public camping areas, riparian regions and
sensitive areas. Official transition occurred from a type 3 IC to a
type 2 IC at 1800 hours on 6/24/2012.While significant progress has
been madetowards fire containment, the risk of spread remains as
alternative contingency plans are being developed by the incident
management team.
